This portrait was born out of a personal quest: to reconnect with a forgotten strength. While working on this piece, I was navigating complex emotions: doubt, the desire for renewal, and the determination to stand tall like her—upright and unshakable. This is not a historical depiction; it is an intimate reinterpretation—that of a modern woman who remembers that she is made of gold, cracks, and burning silence.
Handmade and one-of-a-kind piece
Acrylic paint and mixed media on canvas, applied by hand with a brush and palette knife, finished with two coats of high-quality acrylic varnish (protection against UV rays and dust).The edges are painted, so the painting does not require a frame.
