Kiswa is not just a cloth, richly embroidered with gold and silver threads on high quality silk with Quranic verses, mostly written in Thuluth script. It holds a special place in the heart of all Muslims, coz it drapes the holiest site The Ka’ba. Every 9th day of the Dul-hijj month, it get adorned by a new hand woven kiswa.

Lot of planning and preparation went into this, somehow I have to foreseen the result and to work on it. Like , the color and the compartments, all fine details, the script and so on… Replicating this work with acrylic paints were challenging one.
