The Celestial Abode

“The Celestial Abode” is a captivating contemporary Islamic artwork featuring the historic Imam Ali Mosque in Luxembourg emerging from a dynamic, swirling cosmic portal. Rendered in deep indigo, cerulean, and warm gold hues using acrylic paints and precision markers, this original piece bridges sacred architectural heritage with mystical abstraction.

Technique & Details:

Created on A3 paper using a layered combination of fluid acrylic paints and fine acrylic markers:

Geometric Precision: The intricate blue geometric tile-work and diamond latticework on the mosque’s entrance were meticulously rendered using fine-tip acrylic markers, serving as an homage to traditional Islamic geometric design.

Cosmic Contrast: Expressive, textured brushstrokes in the surrounding blue vortex contrast sharply with the controlled, precise geometry of the sanctuary, creating a powerful visual balance between chaos and divine order.

Color Harmony: Deep celestial blues represent the infinite universe, while rich golds, yellows, and earthy terracotta tones radiate warmth and spiritual light from within the central dome and minarets.

ملحوظة: This artwork is sold unframed, allowing the collector to choose custom framing that best fits their space.
